The expedition
Wilpattu is quieter than Yala, and its leopards are all the more rewarding for it. Pale sand tracks wind between natural lakes, and after dark the night drive reveals a whole other cast.
Day by day
- Day 1
Evening safari & night drive
An afternoon drive among the villus, then a buffer-zone night drive for fishing cat, jungle cat and loris.
- Day 2
Wilpattu full day
Gate to gate in the northern villus, working leopards and bears in the open.

Morning drive & onward
A final morning in the park before you travel on.
